The USB 3.0 SSIC solution can be used with the company’s oscilloscopes to efficiently debug, decode and analyze the SSIC protocol in protocol layers, link layers and raw data / 8b-10b encoded packets in multiple USB lanes. .. The SSIC standard specifies the low power USB 3.0 interconnect for mobile applications using the MIPI Alliance M-PHY as the physical layer. It can also maintain USB 3.0 established technology and software compatibility while using 20% of the power consumed by the USB 3.0 PHY.
The SSIC decoding solution uses oscilloscope hardware triggers to trigger live waveforms to improve locking accuracy to specific packet types, search for different packet types, and correlate with M-PHY electrical signals. Can be taken. Oscilloscope-based hardware triggers can capture decoded signals with greater accuracy than software triggers. You can also debug / verify the protocol for 1, 2, or 4 lanes and PWM G1 at HS Gear 1, 2, and 3 speeds. The SSIC solution can be used with the mixed signal oscilloscope “MSO70000” series, which has a maximum frequency band of 33 GHz and high waveform acquisition capability.
The HSI solution automatically performs accurate and reliable electrical measurements of HSI and decodes the protocol for compliance testing and troubleshooting. The HSI is used to connect application dies to mobile phone cellular modem dies to provide multiprocessor low-latency communication channels in die-to-die links.
RFFE is a typical control method for RF front-end devices such as power amplifiers, low-noise amplifiers, filters, switches, power management modules, antenna tuners, and sensors. The decoding solution efficiently debugs, decodes and analyzes RFFE protocols. In addition, the company also offers UniPro and UFS decoding solutions, including multi-lane decoding of memory interfaces for M-PHY devices.
The decoding function of HSI and RFFE can be used with the oscilloscope “DPO5000 / DPO7000” series and “MSO / DSA / DPO70000” series. The solution was developed in collaboration with partner company Prodigy Technologies.
In addition, as a protocol decoding solution for mobile, we announced a stand-alone protocol decoder unit for the D-PHY protocol, which was jointly developed with partner company Moving Pixel. The unit supports CSI / DSI protocol decoding of MIPI D-PHY signals up to 1.5 Gbps / lane, up to 4 lanes and clocks. It has a DUT connection with an active solder down probe, a real-time trigger function, and a filter / error detection function.
